1.    Management and Leadership Development

Short Courses
We deliver short 1/2 day or 1 day courses on specific management or leadership subjects including those listed below
:

  • Giving Feedback
  • Setting and reviewing Objectives
  • Performance Management
  • Communication Skills
  • Presentation Skills
Long Courses

We also deliver longer management and leadership development programmes, typically 6 one-day workshops delviered 4 weeks apart and covering a range of subject areas.  These longer management and leadership development programmes can lead to nationally recognised Institute of Leadership and Management qualifications for an additional charge to cover candidate registration and assessment of course work.

2.   Improving Customer Experience

We've designed a range of training and development interventions to help improve customer experience.   From 2008 to 2010 we designed and delivered "Here to Help" for Burnley Borough Council involving 600 staff attending 3 workshops.  The programme delivered a range of measurable results.   We've produced a simple model of customer experience (email us if you'd like a free copy) which breaks customer experience down into three components.

3.   Helping People Get Better at Working Together

We have delivered a wide range of away-days for teams, departments, companies and for stakeholders. We often build up long-term relationships when delivering away-days for clients. Lablogic in Sheffield have used us to deliver team buidling activities on three of their annual company residential weekends at Centre Parcs, Nottingham.  Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has used us over a 2 year period to deliver 6  stakeholder consultation events, each event focussing on a different issue and involving very different stakeholder groups. 

We have a range of indoor and outdoor exercises designed to help people understand each others' perspectives, motives and problems.   We've worked with very small teams (a Sheffield City Council team of 6 people was struggling with conflict which we helped to analyse and reduce) and we've worked with larger groups of 40 or more people including a team of approximately 45 Derbyshire Constabulary police officers and support workers attending a Gender Agenda conference.   People tend to remember our away-days (for the right reasons) and so the learning lasts longer.
