February 2026 - Creating a collaborative and supportive leadership culture
We worked with the Head of School and School Manager to design and faciliitate a half-day workshop for 30 Academic and Professional Services leaders at a school within the Faculty of Social Sciences. The purpose of the session was to bring together leaders from seperate academic disciplines to help them define what a collaborative and supportive leadership culture looked like for their School.
January to March 2026
A continuation of our 2024 and 2025 workshops, looking at how a range of techniques can be used to avoid or de-escalate the challenging situations that admin and clerical staff face at work.
April 2025 - Responding to Challenging Situations workshops
We’re back working with Sheffield Teaching Hospital running some open workshops for Administration and Clerical staff repeating last year’s workshops on how best to prevent and de-escalate challenging situations.
April to October 2024 Management Development Programme
We designed and delivered a management development programme made up of six half-day workshops to one cohort of current SYPA managers and a second cohort of aspiring/ newly appointed SYPA managers.
March 2024 - Responding to Challenging Situations workshops
We designed and delivered a series of workshops for Administration and Clerical staff focussed on how best to prevent and de-escalate challenging situations.
September 2023 - Away Day
Working with an excellent internal volunteer working group we helped design and facililitate a whole organisation away-day for SYPA – attended by over 100 emplyees.
July 2023 Professional Services Team Away-Day
Following our facilitation of the morning of the 2022 Professional Services team away-day, it was a pleasure to work with the 60 strong team, once again facilitating the morning of their 2023 Professional Services team away-day, held, as last year, in the Lambing Barn of the excellent Whirlow Hall Farm.
July 2023 Professional Services Team Away-Day
We delivered a session on Transactional Analysis, showing NHS employees how Eric Berne’s ideas on Parent, Adult and Child can be used in the workplace and at home to improve interactions. Our session was a contributions to the ICB’s Eyes on Your programme of employee Health and Well-being events.
September 2025 to March 2026 Management Development Programme
We are currently working with two cohorts of SYPA managers/ aspiring managers, repeating our 2024 Management Development Programme, but with updated learning material to reflect the different needs of the 2025/2026 programme.
September 2025 Away Day
Following on from our facilitation of SYPA’s 2023 biennial Staff Away Day we were asked to co-designed and co-faciliate the 2025 Staff Away Day – working with a volunteer Staff Away Day Working Group.
October 2024 - Theory of Change Workshop
We facilitated a day-long workshop at the University of Leeds to help partners start the process of designing a Theory of Change for this exciting Yorkshire and Humberside project. Further information about YIPI is available by clicking the link above
